Introduction of YAN Xingmao's Experience in Treating Sinus Bradycardia Based on "Triple Energizer Yang Deficiency , Cold-Stasis Obstructing Collaterals" Theory
Abstract: This paper introduces the clinical experience of Chief Physician YAN Xingmao in treating sinus bradycardia. Chief Physician YAN holds that the core pathogenesis of sinus bradycardia is characterized by:insufficient heart yang as the manifestation, deficient spleen yang as the root cause, depleted kidney yang as the fundamental, and intermingled cold and stasis as the pathological transformation. In clinical practice,he bases syndrome differentiation and treatment on the theory of "triple energizer yang deficiency, cold-stasis obstructing collaterals", and adopts therapeutic principles including warming heart yang, invigorating spleen yang, tonifying kidney yang, dispelling cold pathogenic factors, and unblocking stasis and stagnation. He modifies prescriptions according to specific syndromes, commonly using Mahuang Fuzi Xixin Decoction, Lizhong Pills, Sini Decoction series, Wutou Chishizhi Pills, combined with insect drugs—and this approach achieves good therapeutic effects.
