Clinical Study on Oral Modified Danggui Shaoyao San Combined with Retention Enema of Qingre Huoxue Prescription in the Treatment of Chronic Endometritis of Damp-Heat Stasis Type
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of oral modified Danggui Shaoyao San combined with retention enema of Qingre Huoxue Prescription in the treatment of chronic endometritis (CE) of damp-heat stasis type and its influence on patients' reproductive prognosis. Methods:A total of 84 patients with CE of damp-heat stasis type treated in Wenzhou TCM Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from August 2022 to December 2023 were enrolled. They were divided into the observation group and the control group with 42 cases in each group using the random number table method. The control group was treated with oral Levofloxacin combined with Metronidazole for 14 consecutive days. On the basis of the control group, the observation group was treated with oral modified Danggui Shaoyao San combined with retention enema of Qingre Huoxue Prescription for 1 month. The endometrial thickness, uterine artery blood flow parameters [pulsatility index (PI),resistance index (RI),systolic peak velocity/diastolic end velocity (S/D)], traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, CD138 negative conversion rate and pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the endometrial thickness in both groups was increased when compared with that before treatment (P<0.05),and the endometrial thickness in the observation group was thicker than that in the control group (P<0.05). The uterine artery PI, RI, S/D, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the uterine artery PI,RI,S/D,and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The CD138 negative conversion rate in the observation group was 76.19% (32/42),which was higher than that of 54.76% (23/42) in the control group (P<0.05). During the 9-month follow-up, the pregnancy rate in the observation group was 71.43% (30/42), which was higher than that of 50.00% (21/42) in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Oral modified Danggui Shaoyao San combined with retention enema of Qingre Huoxue Prescription in the treatment of CE of damp-heat stasis type can relieve patients' clinical symptoms, improve endometrial blood flow, and increase the CD138 negative conversion rate and pregnancy rate.
