Analysis of Pathogenesis of Acne and Stategies for Its Acupuncture-Moxibustion Prevention and Treatment Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine Chronomedicine Theory
Abstract: Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) chronomedicine, centered on the theory of "correspondence between human and nature", systematically explains the synchronous relationship between human physiological and pathological changes and the natural circadian rhythms, and serves as a crucial discipline guiding clinical diagnosis and treatment. Based on the theoretical framework of TCM chronomedicine, this study delves into the intrinsic connections between the pathogenesis of acne and daily rhythms, monthly rhythms, and seasonal rhythms. Accordingly, it proposes a timed acupuncture-moxibustion treatment strategy, emphasizing the importance of "treating at the right time and administering treatment in accordance with the time",aiming to provide new insights for TCM external therapies in intervening acne.
