Exploring the Clinical Application of Taohe Chengqi Decoction for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm-Related Abdominal Blood Stasis Based on "Removing Blood Stasis as the Key Method for Blood Disorders"
Abstract:From the perspective of blood syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine, complications such as fever, anemia, and gastrointestinal dysfunction following endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms with stent grafts are often caused by blood stasis in the abdominal cavity. The pathogenesis can be attributed to blood stasis accumulation in the lower energizer and the intermingling of blood stasis and heat. Based on the theory of "removing blood stasis as the key method for blood disorders, " the treatment of postoperative complications should primarily focus on dispelling stasis, supplemented by clearing heat. Since postoperative conditions also involve anemia and qi deficiency, the key to "removing blood stasis" lies in "simultaneously tonifying and purging, ensuring that the blood stasis is removed without harming the healthy qi." Taohe Chengqi Decoction, with its effect of purging stasis and clearing heat,is suitable for the syndrome of blood stasis accumulated in the lower energizer.
