Abstract： This article introduces Professor ZOU Xu's clinical experience in differentiating and treating sepsisinduced myocardial dysfunction（SIMD） based on the theory of triple-energizer qi transformation. Professor ZOU believes that the triple energizer， as an organic whole， governs all qi and is responsible for qi transformation in the human body. The theory of triple-energizer qi transformation emphasizes the coordinated balance of qi， blood， and body fluids. Dysfunction of triple-energizer qi transformation is closely related to the core pathogenesis of SIMD. In clinical treatment， he focuses on regulating and harmonizing the triple energizer， differentiating and treating SIMD based on this theory： using Cinnamomi Ramulus and Gleditsiae Spina to diffuse and unblock the heart and lungs， clearing fire and removing toxin to regulate the upper energizer；using Zingiberis Rhizoma，Fici Simplicissimae Radix， and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma to elevate the clear and descend the turbid，fortify the spleen and harmonize the stomach to treat the middle energizer；and Guiyi Decoction with Polyporus and Pseudostellariae Radix to transform retained fluid and promote diuresis，combining unblocking and tonifying to regulate the lower energizer. Additionally，he emphasizes the combination of acupuncture and herbal medicine. His medication strategy particularly emphasizes the balanced use of warm and cold in nature，ascending and descending，consolidating and dispersing，tonifying and moving，adjusting self-designed formulas according to clinical manifestations，achieving remarkable therapeutic effects.
