Clinical Study on Qidong Yixin Granules Combined with Conventional Western Medicine Therapy in Treating Coronary Heart Disease Complicated by Arrhythmia
western medicine therapy in treating coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated by arrhythmia. Methods: A total of 110 patients with CHD complicated by arrhythmia admitted to Zhejiang Medical and Health Group, Quzhou Hospital from December 2024 to July 2025 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group using the random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. Ultimately,52 cases completed the study in the control group (3 dropped out) and 53 cases completed it in the observation group (2 dropped out). The control group received conventional western medicine treatment, while the observation group received oral Qidong Yixin Granules in addition to the control group's treatment. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. Clinical effects were evaluated. Comparisons were made between the two groups in terms of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores, cardiac function indices [left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left ventricular end-systolic volume (LVESV),left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV)],changes on 24-hour Holter ECG (QTc interval, number of short runs of ventricular tachycardia, number of premature ventricular contractions),hemodynamic parameters (plasma fibrinogen, plasma specific viscosity, hematocrit), levels of myocardial enzyme [cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnI), lactate dehydrogenase( LDH)],levels of inflammatory factors [interleukin-6( IL-6),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein( hs- CRP)],and incidence of adverse reactions. Results:The total effective rate was 94.34% (50/53) in the observation group, higher than that of 78.85% (41/52) in the control group (P<0.05). After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, the scores for main symptoms, secondary symptoms, and total scores were gradually decreased in both groups (P<0.05), and these scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time points (P<0.05). After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, LVEF levels were gradually increased, while LVESV and LVEDV levels were gradually decreased in both groups (P<0.05);furthermore,the LVEF level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group at the same time points, while the LVESV and LVEDV levels were lower (P<0.05). After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, the number of short runs of ventricular tachycardia, the number of premature ventricular contractions, and the QTc interval were gradually decreased in both groups (P<0.05), and these values in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time points (P<0.05). After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, plasma fibrinogen, plasma specific viscosity, and hematocrit were gradually decreased in both groups (P< 0.05),and these values in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time points (P< 0.05). After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, levels of cTnI,LDH,IL-6,and hs-CRP were gradually decreased in both groups( P<0.05),and these levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time points (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Qidong Yixin Granules combined with conventional western medicine therapy can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms, improve cardiac function and hemodynamic status, reduce myocardial enzyme levels, and mitigate the inflammatory response in patients with CHD complicated by arrhythmia, demonstrating safety and efficacy.
