Abstract: The trinity life view of "form, qi, and spirit" is a core concept in the theoretical system of Chinese medicine, emphasizing the importance of their unity for human health. The pathogenesis of thyroid nodules can be elucidated through the pathological characteristics of "form,qi,and spirit" The pathology of form in thyroid nodules involves the binding of phlegm and stasis; the pathology of qi involves the dysfunction of qi movement; and the pathology of spirit involves yin deficiency of the heart and liver. These three aspects interact with each other and collectively contribute to the disease. Therefore, from the perspectives of form,qi,and spirit, clinical treatment of thyroid nodules can focus on three aspects: resolving phlegm and stasis, regulating the liver and spleen, and nourishing the heart and liver.
